Counselling Qualifications & Experience

Felicity has spent over 17 years working as a Counsellor in government, non-government & private organisations.

Felicity is a Clinical Member of the Psychotherapy & Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and the Counsellor’s & Psychotherapists Association of NSW (CAPA). PACFA & CAPA grant Clinical Membership only to those Counsellors who have a proven extensive history of counselling experience and relevant tertiary qualifications. Felicity obtained a Bachelor of Psychology degree in 1998 from Macquarie University and a Post Graduate Diploma of Counselling from the Australian College of Applied Psychology.

Alongside her work as a Counsellor, Felicity works as an Educator at the Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP). She teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate students studying counselling, as well as students attaining their registration as a Psychologist. ACAP is one of the most highly regarded private training institutions for Counsellors and Psychologists in Australia.

Felicity also provides clinical Supervision to other Counsellors who are working in the field. Supervision can take place at Evolve Counselling in Balgowlah (5 mins from Manly). Felicity is highly trained in Narrative Therapy and also delivers her own Narrative Therapy workshops to Counsellors who are interested in this approach.
